As in years past, our OHSC regattas will be held on the 3rd Saturday of the month beginning in April, and in each month through October. This year OHSC hosts the Inter-club Regatta with Lake Townsend, which has been scheduled for Saturday, November 8.Saturdays from August 23 through October 4 will be scheduled for High Point University Sailing Class instruction (the HPU students will join us for our September 20th regatta).
We have added some new events to the calendar for 2014 as follow:
Friday, May 9 through Sunday May 11: camp and sail at Jordan Lake
(Sundays after our regattas) May 18*, June 22, July 20, August 17: Training days for ourselves and for new members
* May 18th is also Community Fun Day, open to the public to introduce ourselves and the sport of sailing to all who are interested.
We plan to hold some informal social events throughout the year, but they have not been pre-scheduled. We will advise everyone as to time and place when those are set up.
Our year-end banquet will be held on November 22.
