Our final regatta of the year on October 19th, will have an added element to it:Before returning to the dock following the final race, there will be pumpkins with each captain’s name (or an assigned number) floating in an area on the lake – each boat should find and retrieve its pumpkin, and we will have a pumpkin carving contest back on shore.
On the day of the regatta please bring with you whatever pumpkin carving tools and decorations you will require to design your orange masterpieces.
The finished jack-o-lanterns will be scored on original design between 1 and 10 by all participants to determine a winner.
